Candidates who applied for the Assam Police Sub-Inspector Post must pass all stages of the selection process in order to be appointed to the position. Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test
On a merit basis, candidates who are 5 times the number of vacancies in each category, both Male and Transgender and Female, will be shortlisted to take the PST (Physical Standard Test) and PET (Physical Efficiency Test). The following are the details for both positions:
Physical Standard Test (Common for Both Post)
The candidates who have been shortlisted will be invited to take the Physical Standard Test. The PST will not be graded. Candidates’ height, weight, and chest (only for Male & Transgender) will be measured, and they will then be inspected by a medical officer for preliminary examinations. Candidates who pass the Physical Efficiency Test will be shortlisted to take the Physical Efficiency Test.
Police SI Physical Efficiency Test (For Unarmed Branch)
A total of 40 points will be awarded for the Physical Efficiency Test. The following are the specifics:
