State-level Public Service Commission (PSC) Exams are similar to UPSC Exams, however, they are held at the state level. The Public Service Commission Examinations are held in each state to recruit administrators and other officers of various grades and positions. APPSC is one such state organisation that organises exams. The APPSC has its own website, which changes the exam schedule, syllabus, and eligibility requirements. The APPSC is also used to recruit for different state government bodies in Andhra Pradesh. It serves as a consultant to the state government on civil service department recruiting. The Commission has the authority to start designing tests for various civil service departments of the state government on an annual basis.
For the exams to be held in 2022, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) will determine the APPSC Group 1 qualifying criterion. Before applying for the exam, candidates interested in the positions of Deputy Collectors, Assistant Commissioners, Deputy Superintendents of Jails, Deputy Superintendents of Police, District Fire Officers, Assistant Treasury Officers, Regional Transport Officers, and others should read the APPSC Group 1 eligibility criteria in detail. This data is for the year 2020, although the same criteria are projected for 2022. Candidates’ applications will be denied if they do not meet the Commission’s eligibility requirements.
