AFCAT Training Salary Structure 2022

AFCAT Posts Growth and Ranks

On the basis of the timeline, AFCAT promotions are applicable to the top three ranks. Promotions to other jobs will be made based on the job and how positions become vacant.

  • If a person has served in the Flying Officers for three years, they will be promoted to Flight Lieutenant. They must pass a departmental test to be considered for promotion.
  • After six years of service, an employee will be promoted to Squadron Leader.
  • For the purposes of promotion and compensation, technical officers who are engineers will be awarded a two-year seniority period, which will be comparable to that of Indian Air Force officers.
  • All officers must take the ‘C’ examination, which consists of General Knowledge and post-related themes, in order to be considered for Departmental promotion and rank advancement.
