The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET 2024), also known as the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET), is a state-level examination held annually by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education for the recruitment of primary and upper primary teachers.
Both English and Hindi will be used in the exam. Candidates who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in the RTET interview round.
The exam conducting body will issue a pass certificate to qualified candidates. According to our Education Minister, the RTET certificate and scorecard will be valid for life. Updates on the exam are available on the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education’s official website.

Aspirants for the RTET exam online at the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education’s official website. Applicants must complete the required information, select their preferred exam centres, and pay the application fee.

Along with the RTET 2024 notification, the eligibility criteria for the exam will be released. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, according to the RTET eligibility criteria published in the official notification. For the RTET exam, there is no upper age limit.
Applicants for Primary Teachers must have a Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks, as well as appearing or passing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with appearing or passing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
To apply for the position of Upper Primary Teacher, applicants must have completed their graduation with at least 50 percent marks and passed or be enrolled in a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent qualification.
Applicants have the option of selecting up to three exam centres from the list below. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education allows applicants to choose their preferred centres on the RTET application form.

Every year, RTET follows a specific exam pattern. There are two levels to the RTET 2024 Exam Pattern. While Level I is for primary school teachers (classes 1–5), Level II is for upper primary school teachers (classes 6–8).

The result of the RTET 2024 written test for both levels – Level 1 and Level 2 – will be released by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education. Applicants must enter their login credentials, which include their roll number and date of birth, in order to download their results.

As a 3rd Grade teacher, RTET qualifiers can expect to earn INR 23,700/-. Teachers will be paid according to the pay matrix’s 10th Level after their recruitment has been confirmed.
A probationary period of two years will be imposed. During this time, the candidate receives only the basic pay salary, with no additional benefits. Teachers will be eligible for a variety of benefits after their confirmation, including Traveling Allowances, Living Adjustment, Dearness Allowance (DA), Bonus, and Urban Damage Supply.
