RPF SI 2024 exam is known as Railway Protection Force Sub-Inspector exam and it is a national-level exam. Every year, the RPF SI exam is organized by the Ministry of Railways. This recruitment is held to recruit eligible candidates from all over the country for the post of Sub-Inspector of Railway Protection Force for different groups and different zones in Indian Railways.

The initial selection will commence on the basis of a Computer Based Test conducted by the authority. After clearing the initial stage candidates have to clear other stages such as PET, PMT, and DV. RPF SI 2024 Salary

The candidates who will be recruited for RPF SI will get the salary of Level 6 of the 7th CPC (Central Pay Commission). The initial salary for an RPF Sub-Inspector is about INR 35,400/ +Travel Allowance (TA)+ Dearness Allowance (DA)+ etc are also provided to them additionally.

RPF SI 2024 Application Process

Before filling out the RPF SI 2024 application form, first candidates have to be familiar with the application process. So we have provided here the stepwise procedure to fill the online application form. It should be noted that the RPF SI application form will be filled and submitted in online mode only.

How To Apply for RPF SI 2024?

To fill out the form, you have to visit the official page of Indian Railways.

Registration Process

Candidates first have to find and then have to click on the “New Registration” link, appearing on the homepage.
Now candidates have to read the available pieces of information and instructions and then mark with ‘Tick’ in the check box.
Candidates will have to choose one zonal group to which they wish to apply.
Now in the registration form, candidates have to fill in all the required and necessary details as per the official requirement such as the Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Parent Name, Aadhaar number, Educational detail, State/UT, Category, Class 10th roll number, passing year, Mobile No. and an email ID. While filling in the details, you must have to ensure that all the information entered is correct.
After completing the above steps, One Time Password will be sent to the registered mobile no. and email id of the candidates.
Now you have to enter both the OTPs to complete the verification process.
Once the verification process is completed, an automated generated credential will be provided to you through mail on your registered mail id.

Filling the application form

Now enter the earlier provided credential (which consists of registration no. and password) to log in.
Now fill in all the asked details like Educational Qualification, Mother Tounge, Permanent Address, Reservation Details, etc, and then choose any language for the exam from the list of the languages.
After filling in all the details accordingly, proceed to pay the application fee in order to acceptance of the application form by the authority.

Payment Process

The payment can be made in both modes such as Online as well as Offline.
For the online mode of payment, candidates have to choose either of the payment options from Debit Card/Net banking/Credit Card.
For offline mode of payment, candidates have to visit the nearest branch of the State Bank of India to deposit the Challan.
Candidates have to provide their bank details in order to receive the refundable amount post-CBT.
The category-wise application fee is given in the table below.

Uploading Documents

Candidates will have to upload their recent passport size photograph in the jpg/jpeg format. The size of the photo should be lie between 15 kb-40 kb and the dimension should be 35mm X 45mm. The date of the photograph should be mentioned on it.
All the candidates who are claiming for reservation, have to upload their category certificate in the jpg/jpeg format.

Note:

In order to submit the application form, candidates have to confirm the declaration.
After complete submission, take the printout of the application form for future references.

Modification of Application Form

In case, if a candidate wants to make changes in his submitted application form then he/she can do so except the state and mobile number/email. The correction window will be open after the last date of submission of the application form. Candidates can make changes accordingly by paying a charge of Rs. 250.

Those who want to make changes can follow the below steps:

First, visit the website and click on the “Online Application” link, and then click on the link ‘Modify’ application form.
Candidates have to Log in using their credentials (registration number and password) provided at the time of registration for RPF SI.
Make a payment of Rs. 250/- as modification fee.
After the submission of the modification fee, candidates can edit/change/ modify their incorrect details except for State and Mobile number/Email.
After re-editing the application form, candidates have to submit the application form.

RPF SI 2024 Eligibility

Firstly, candidates have to check all the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Because any individual will be able to fill the form only if he/she satisfies all the eligibility.

1. Nationality

Only those candidates will able to apply for RPF SI if their nationality is Indian.

2. Educational Qualification

Candidates who are going to apply for RPF SI must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

3. Age Limit

The age of the candidates should lie in the range of 20- 25 years old. i.e. the minimum age should be 20 years and the maximum should be 25 days.
The relaxation in age will be given to the reserved category candidates while no relaxation will be there for the unserved category candidates.
The criteria for age relaxation in the upper age limit is given below.

Note: To get the reservation, candidates must have to claim for reservation by providing the relevant documents/caste certificate authorized by the concerned state/central Government for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ OBC-NCL/ Scheduled Tribe (ST).

RPF SI 2024 Exam Pattern

In the RPF SI 2024 exam, candidates will have to go through the 3 stages:

CBT (Computer Based Test)
PET (Physical Efficiency Test) and PMT (Physical Measurement Test)
Document Verification.

Stage 1: CBT

The exam pattern for the Computer-Based Test of RPF SI 2024 is given below:

RPF SI 2024 Admit Card

The admit card of RPF SI 2024 will be published tentatively prior to 2-3 of CBT. Those, who have filled the form of RPF SI will be able to download the Admit Card. The admit card for the RPF SI exam will be published online on the official website. No postal services will be provided for the admit card, candidates have to download it.

How to Download the Admit Card?

First of all, go to the official website.
Then click for the admit card link appearing on the homepage of the website.
Now open the link and log in to your account by entering credentials received at the time of registration.
After logging in click on the ‘Download Admit Card’ button.
Now match all the details and then download it.
Do not forget to take a hard copy of the admit card.

RPF SI 2024 Result

The result of the RPF SI exam will be released separately in the form of a pdf in online mode for Groups A, B, C, D, E, and F. Candidates who have appeared for the RPF SI exam will able to check their stage-wise as well as the final result by visiting the website officially.

RPF SI 2024 Cut off

To get the post of SI under the Ministry of Railways candidates have to score more than the cut-off of each round. The final cut-off will be released after the normalization of overall marks.

RPF SI 2024 Merit List

After the conduction of the Computer Based Test, the merit list will be declared on the official website.
The group-wise merit list will be published online on the official website of Indian Railway in the pdf form.
After the release of the official merit list based on the marks acquired in the RPF SI exam, candidates will call for the Medical Fitness and Document Verification test.

RPF SI 2024 Selection Process

Ministry of Railways conducts the exam of RPF SI to select eligible candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector for Railway Protection Force. The selection of the candidates as RPF SI will be based on the following three stages:

CBT (Computer Based Test)
PET (Physical Efficiency Test) and PMT (Physical Measurement Test)
Document Verification.

Candidates who qualify the stage 1 will be called for stage 2 and those who qualify for stage 2 will be called for stage 3. After the final stage of document verification, a conclusive outcome will be declared. As an outcome, the eligible candidates will be recruited for the post of Sub-Inspector under the Ministry of Railways in any of the railway zones.
