RITES Recruitment 2020-21: Number of Vacancies

There were 170 Graduate Engineer vacancies available, including reserved and unreserved positions. Educational qualifications:

Applicants from the General/EWS category and applicants from the reserved category applying for unreserved positions must have at least 60% aggregate marks in their minimum qualifying degree, while applicants applying for reserved positions must have at least 50% aggregate marks in their minimum qualifying degree.

On November 1st, 2021 the experience will be calculated.

Age limits:

All applicants applying for engineering positions must also meet the age requirements set forth by RITES in its official announcement. Applicants must be under the age of 40 (as of November 1, 2021), i.e., those born on or after November 1, 1981 are eligible to apply for this position.

RITES Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern & Selection process

All applications will be screened, and those who are shortlisted will be invited to take a written test. Candidates will be called for a personal interview based on their performance on the written test.

The following weightage parameters will be used to make the final selection of applicants:

  • Experience – 5%
  • Written test – 60%
  • Interview – 35% (Technical proficiency – 25% & Personality communication – 10%)

Applicants will also have the option of choosing between Hindi and English for the interview.

The appointment of selected candidates is solely contingent on them meeting the company’s medical fitness requirements.

During the personal interview, applicants must have self-attested copies of the following documents with them, as well as a copy of the application form:
