National Talent Search Examination is a National-Level exam and it is popularly known as NTSE. Every year, the NTS examination is conducted by the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) to offer accomplishments to the commendable students studying in class 10th. NTS Exam is conducted only once in a year in two different Stages- Stage I and II for 10th standard students only.
The Stage-I exam is a state-level exam and is conducted by all the states and Union Territories of India while Stage-II (National level) will be held only for those students who will qualify the Stage-I. The students who will clear both the Stages i.e. Stage-I and Stage-I will be eligible to receive the Scholarship. The scholarship will be given on the basis of the overall performance of students in Stage-I and Stage-II. The application form for this exam will be filled in online mode and the examination will be held in offline mode.
The NCERT has been released the notification for the NTSE for the session 2024 and all the states and Union Territories have been released the application form for NTSE in the month of October. Candidates are instructed to fill the application form before the last date.

The application form for NTSE can be filled in both the modes i.e. in online and offline modes. For the different states, the offline application form will be distributed separately by the states. The admit card for Stage 1 will be issued by the official authorities of the state and UTs. While the admit card for Stage 2 will be released on the official website of NCERT. The admit card is a very necessary document and without it, no one can enter the examination hall.

The final cut off mark for the NTSE will be released by NCERT after the successful completion of the stage 2 exam. Generally, NCERT publishes cut off marks according to the category wise and subjects wise as well.
