Following is the eligibility criteria for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses for NIFT 2024:

B.Des 23 years as on 1st October 2024 10+2 examination from a recognized board,
or General Certificate Education (GCE) Examinationor 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE
B.FTech 23 years as on 1st October 2024 10+2 examination (with PCM) from a recognized board, o
r General Certificate Education (GCE) Examinationor 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE
M.Des/MFM Undergraduate degree from NIFT/NID
or undergraduate diploma of minimum 3 year duration from NIFT/NID
M.F.Tech B.F.Tech from NIFT
or BE/B.Tech from any recognized institution.

Key Points

  • 5 year age relaxation in upper age limit will be given for reserved categories. Reserved category candidates have to upload appropriate certificates during application online.
  • Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria are bound to have their application forms rejected.
  • Incomplete or invalid application forms will also be rejected.
  • Candidates have to apply by last date, after which a late application fee of Rs 5000 has to be paid for applying.
  • The application process will take place online and eligible candidates can register through the online application portal for NIFT.
  • Applicants can only select one course for the examination.
  • Applicants can download their admit cards online and must carry the same during the examination.
