Martha moderated the first panel. According to his comment, “HR has developed into a strategic business partner and is playing a role in supporting people who are enabling enterprises.” The two key issues that the panellists concentrated on were the function of HR as a steward of culture and as a strategic business partner.

When discussing the cultural shift from the industrial to the informational to the social revolutions, Ranganath observed, “Today’s organisations have a mix of Gen X, Y, and Z employees. Therefore, an organization’s culture must be flexible enough to accommodate these different generations. “As an HR, You need to capture the voice of your employees, after which you arrive at certain dimensions and criteria of how aligned they are to your company’s culture,” shouted Thakur as she discussed how an organisation can determine if its employees are adhering to its culture. If they weren’t on your side, they wouldn’t ever support your culture.

Global HR Conclave 2022: Second panel

The second panel, which discussed digital transformation and the significance of having futuristic talents to succeed in the modern world, was moderated by Kataria. “You may be an expert in a particular field, but if it doesn’t meet the needs of the market, it has no value,” Singh said. Human and communication skills are two crucial abilities that must never be compromised to survive in an organisation.

Reddy stated that “HR is getting technical in today’s world” when discussing digital transformation and disruption. Instead of eliminating jobs, digital transformation is increasing job prospects. Concerning DEI, Nagarajaiah remarked, “It is the organization’s duty to provide an environment friendly to employees from a variety of backgrounds and physical capacities. In order to maintain business competitiveness, HR plays a crucial role in ensuring inclusivity by assisting with talent attraction and retention.
