The deadline to apply for the integrated postgraduate (PG) programmes through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022) has been extended by the University of Hyderabad to October 12, 2022. On the official website, acad.uohyd.ac.in, candidates will be able to apply for the five-year integrated PG programmes using their CUET 2022 results.
Based on the candidates’ results in the exams designated as core papers, Hyderabad University will compile a merit list for the integrated PG programmes. According to the official announcement, a rank list for UoH admission 2022 will be created based on how well candidates performed on the core exams. “Candidates must achieve a minimum cut-off score of 35 in the prerequisite exams to be considered for postgraduate programmes. Regardless of their performance on the core exams, only applicants who achieve the minimum cut-off marks in the qualifying exams will be considered for admission, it stated.
The eligibility requirements are the same for admission to integrated MSc programmes in mathematical sciences, physics, chemical science, biology, and applied geology. For the latter courses, biology or mathematics, whichever is greater, will be used. The merit list for mathematical sciences and physics will be based on marks in math, physics, and chemistry (PCM). Candidates will only be considered for admission if they meet the university’s eligibility requirements, which call for a minimum of 60% in science subjects in Class 12. It is necessary to take Mathematics in Class 12 in order to be admitted to the Mathematical Sciences and Physics programme.
Candidates for the Integrated MSc Chemical Sciences programme should be capable of carrying out their own experiments. The institution stated that there would be no provisions for permitting any support or scribe to conduct the trials.
