The following algorithm will be used by the exam authorities to break a tie if two or more applicants receive identical results.
Step 1: In the event of a tie, the applicant who received a higher proportion of Math marks will be given a higher position.
Step 2: Candidates with greater percentage marks in Physics will be assigned a higher TNEA rank for 2022 if the tie continues.
Step 3: The candidate with a better percentage score in the fourth optional subject will be given a higher rank if the tie is still present.
Step 4: The candidates who are older will then be given a higher TNEA rank.
Step 5: If the tie still persists, then the candidate with a higher value of Random Number will be given a higher rank.
