The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a prominent MBA entrance assessment administered by XLRI, Jamshedpur to gain entrance into PGDM/ MBA courses. The XAT 2023 test is scheduled to take place on January 8, 2023, and will be done on a computer. Annually, thousands of students partake in XAT, and with the restricted number of openings at XLRI and other top B-schools that accept XAT scores, achieving a high percentile in the exam is very important.

As the XAT 2023 exams are only three days away, it can be assumed that test-takers have largely gone over the material included in the syllabus. In these last few days, they should concentrate on going over essential topics, taking XAT sample exams, and attempting XAT past year inquiries. They should also make sure to get enough rest, eat healthily, and stay optimistic.

XAT 2023 last-minute preparation tips

Here are some tips that can help candidates to prepare well for the XAT 2023 exam.

Solve XAT previous year papers and take mock test

Prior to sitting for the XAT, it is essential to take numerous practice tests and thoroughly analyze them. This can be beneficial in terms of gaining an understanding of the exam structure, the type of questions asked, and how to manage time efficiently. The more mock tests completed, the better one can expect to do on the day of the exam.

Take the right approach

When getting ready for the XAT, it is important for candidates to come up with a plan for how they will approach the test. They should determine which types of questions they will tackle first and which ones they will save for the end. Additionally, they should have a plan for which section to take first, what questions to answer, and when to move on to the next one.

Focus on revision

For those studying for the XAT exam, the best way to prepare at the last minute is to focus on revising the most pertinent topics, rather than trying to cover everything. Trying to pick up a new topic or skill in the days leading up to the test is not advisable, as it can be confusing for the candidate.

Relax and unwind

XAT top scorers have been recommending that people get plenty of rest in the lead-up to the exam to ensure they are mentally prepared. Make sure to get good sleep, eat well, listen to music, go for a drive, etc. Taking the time to relax and de-stress before the test is of utmost importance as it allows the mind to work more efficiently than if it is under a lot of pressure.

Keep all documents in your bag

It is important for candidates to have documents such as their XAT admission ticket, a form of identification, a certification of any disability, and a self-declared medical form (if applicable) when they go to the exam centre. To avoid leaving anything essential behind, they should have all of these items together in their bag the day before the exam.
