The WBJEEB has made available the WBJEE 2023 brochure on the West Bengal JEE website, wbjeeb.nic.in, for candidates to view. The brochure contains all the details regarding the examination. The WBJEE 2023 is slated to be held on April 30.

In order to register for the upcoming WBJEE 2023 exam, applicants must meet the given eligibility criteria. According to the most recent update, the WBJEE 2023 registration will begin in the final week of December. The following are the necessary qualifications to take the WBJEE 2023 entrance exam.

  • Candidates must be citizens of India or OCI (Overseas Citizens of India). OCI candidates are eligible for unreserved seats in all India quota.
  • Have passed or appeared for the 12th exam in (10+2) system only.
  • A candidate should have been born on or before Dec 31, 2006. The lower age limit is 17 years as on Dec 31, 2023. There is no upper age limit
  • For admission to the degree-level marine engineering courses, the upper age limit is 25 years as on Dec 31, 2023.

Aspirants taking the WBJEE exam in 2023 need to start their groundwork in order to ace it. Before beginning the WBJEE 2023 preparation it is vital to be aware of the exam structure. This will make the applicants familiar with the pattern of the question papers in WBJEE 2023. The exam paper is made up of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Each subject will have three types of questions. For a correct response to category 1 questions, one point will be given and 0.25 points will be taken away for an incorrect attempt. Two points are given for correct answers to categories 2 and 3 questions and 0.5 points will be subtracted for an incorrect answer to category 2. For category 3, no points will be deducted for a wrong answer. The specific number of questions and maximum score are specified below.
