Today, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made public the outcome of the Junior Engineer (JE) paper 1 exam for 2022. Participants who sat for the test can look at their SSC JE paper 1 result and cut-off on the official website ssc.nic.in. A total of 15,605 applicants have made it to the SSC JE paper-2 for civil engineering and 4,533 for electrical and mechanical engineering.
SSC made an announcement in an official notification, stating that due to Paper-I (Computer Based Examination) being held in multiple shifts, the marks that candidates earned had been normalized according to the formula published by the Commission on 07.02.2019. This was done in accordance with the regulations in Para 14.7 of the Examination Notice, and the normalized marks of the candidates were used for the purpose of determining who would qualify for the next phase of the Examination (i.e. Paper-II).
The commission announced that the minimal passing grade for SSC JE Paper-I is 60 marks, 50 marks, and 40 marks for the unreserved, OBC/EWS, and all other categories, respectively. These equate to 30%, 25%, and 20% of the total score.
SSC has put off the scores of 22 contenders because of different court proceedings. They have also revealed that the definitive answer keys for their Junior Engineer Paper 1 will be on the official website from the 7th to 21st of February. SSC Junior Engineer Paper 2 is slated to take place on the 26th of February. The Commission has also stated that scores of those who have passed/failed the CBE will be available on their website from 3rd to 17th of February, and that contenders can see their marks by signing in with their registered ID and password.
