The 88th annual national conference of the Indian Academy of Sciences will take place on this site, starting on November 4, at SRM University-AP. Andhra Pradesh was chosen to host the famous conference after a 21-year hiatus, and SRM University-AP has taken it upon itself to organise it for three days, according to a university announcement here.
One of the most prominent conferences ever held in the nation is this one. According to SRM Pro-Vice Chancellor D Narayana Rao, the conference’s main goal is to bring together experts from all over India and overseas on one platform to advance scientific and technological knowledge and share the results with the nation’s up-and-coming researchers. He said that more than 300 distinguished scientists and subject-matter specialists would attend the conference.
Eminent scientists will provide lectures and lead debates on cutting-edge and developing fields of science and technology. Along with an impressive defence missile show, there will be panel discussions and talks by fellows, he continued. SRM would work with ISRO and DRDO to organise the exhibition with a focus on students in rural areas. Additionally, a student talent show for science at the national level could be organised. Narayana Rao claimed that winners in the expo would receive monetary awards.
