MCC has declared a special stray vacancy round for the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate 2022 counselling, to fill the 2,244 PG seats and 62 MDS seats that were not taken up in the preceding round.
MCC has stipulated certain regulations and qualifications for those wishing to take part in the additional counselling session, including a refundable deposit of Rs 50,000. Furthermore, those who fail to accept their seat during the special round will be disqualified from NEET PG 2023.
In order to benefit the applicants, the relevant governing body has decided to hold an extra stray vacancy round for the remaining 2,244 PG (MD, MS, Diploma, PG DNB) and 62 MDS seats using an online approach, as authorized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This is to make sure that the seats are not left empty. This was made known in a statement from the Medical Council of India.
