The Ministry of Education is anticipated to announce a fixed yearly schedule for India’s biggest entrance examinations – Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), and Common University Entrance Test (CUET) – beginning in 2023, according to the Times of India. This is in an effort to organize the process and stop confusion, the report states.

This week, it is anticipated that the NTA will announce the details of the JEE Main 2023, such as the exam dates and registration dates, according to the report.

A representative from the NTA reportedly said that JEE Main 2023 exams are estimated to take place in the middle of January and April, CUET UG 2023 is likely to be in the third week of April and the first week of May, and NEET UG 2023 is projected to occur in May.

The official commented that it would be challenging to meet the desires of the students to take the entrance exams in April due to the postponement of the start of the following academic year. Students wishing to take the JEE Main 2023 asked the NTA to organize the exam in April or May as those who had dropped out of school did not have sufficient time to get ready.

In November, it was reported that the National Testing Agency (NTA) had created two committees of experts in response to exams held in 2022 being disrupted by technical issues. One committee is focusing on ensuring that the dates of the JEE Main, CUET, and NEET do not conflict with each other, while the other committee is reviewing the infrastructure of the test centres. These panels consist of specialists from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), central universities, and people with experience in the administration of examinations.
