On Saturday, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu advised the youth to visit famous historical sites, adding that such excursions and pilgrimages strengthen the belief in the nation’s enduring cultural values that direct people in the correct direction. After spending a day in Gujarat with his family, Naidu created a Facebook post in which he made these comments. Naidu visited various shrines, including the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi in Porbandar, during the trip, which was his final as India’s Vice President.

Gujarat, he said, is the “Land of the Legends,” which inspires a strong sense of patriotism and nationalism in addition to spiritual renewal. Such trips, according to him, deepen the conviction that light would always triumph over darkness. “Gandhiji made an enduring impact on humanity by demonstrating to the entire world the effectiveness of truth and non-violence as tools for battling injustice. I implore everyone to go here and be inspired by the life and principles of the Mahatma, especially the younger generation “He was speaking on his trip to Porbandar.

According to Naidu, India is full of these important historical and spiritual sites. He emphasised the need of educating young people about these locations and advised educational institutions take students there.
