The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) will shortly announce the NEST 2023 admission details on the official website – nestexam.in.
In order to take the NEST 2023 examination, applicants must satisfy the given prerequisites and fill out the application form with their precise educational and individual information. They can gain access to the application form by going to the official website of NEST 2023. Those wishing to participate in the test must submit the application form before the cutoff date and select up to 5 NEST exam centres for the 2023 exam.
The National Entrance Screening Test is composed of four portions, with each section being assigned 50 points. Questions in the examination are multiple choice, necessitating the selection of one response from the four alternatives given.
For NEST 2023, the merit list for both NISER and CEBS will be based on the Section-Wise Minimum Admissible Score (SMAS) of the best three subject scores from four subjects. This is a change from NEST 2022, which used the SMAS scores of all four subjects to prepare the NISER merit list, as stated in the official notification on the official website. Previously, the NEST merit list was made up of the SMAS scores of all four subjects.
The NEST 2023 application cost can be covered using a credit card, debit card, or online banking. Male candidates from the general/OBC category have to pay Rs. 1,200, while other students have to pay Rs. 600.
