Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023: PPC 6th edition benefitted over 5 lakh students in Jammu Div

A telecast of the 6th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual interaction with school students, teachers, and parents, was conducted in over 3000 schools in Jammu Division on Friday. This broadcast was monitored by Principal Secretary for School Education Alok Kumar and Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director of School Education Jammu, allowing over 500,000 students, teachers, and parents to benefit from it.

The Education Department broadcast the event live in schools and other offices using various mediums, such as TV, Radio, and the Internet. Most schools provided a livestream through their ICT labs using the Internet.

At Teacher Bhawan auditorium in Jammu, there was a large gathering with over 500 students and teachers in attendance. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament for Jammu Poonch constituency, emphasized the importance of raising awareness among all related parties, such as students, parents, teachers and the general public, to create a stress-free environment where every child is valued and allowed to express themselves freely. He said that the event was very inspiring and enlightening for the students who are preparing for board exams in summer zone schools.

The Department of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) held an online session to promote the Prime Minister’s PPC 2023 event and Exam Warriors book. Dr. Romesh Kumar from DSEJ mentioned that the counselling cell has taken several steps to assist students in managing examination stress. During the digital gathering, students from all over India asked questions to the Prime Minister, and Nida from the Government Model Higher Secondary School Sunjwan in Jammu was chosen to ask her question.

In a month-long campaign concerning PPC 2023, involving Jammu Division, a total of 41875 students, 21163 teachers, and 4080 parents actively took part in the competitions that were held on various topics.
