A five-year agreement was struck between the Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME) of Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal’s (SVKM) Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), a deemed-to-be university, and HTWG Konstanz-University of Applied Sciences, Germany. The contract was signed by Professor Sabine Rein, president of HTWG Konstanz, and Amrishbhai Patel, chancellor of NMIMS.

The collaboration includes student possibilities for research, internships, and short study courses; faculty exchange for activities including talks, training, and cooperative supervision of industry projects; and provision of academic programmes that are mutually advantageous.

Speaking at the event, Patel said, “NMIMS has grown into a multi-disciplinary institution over the last four decades and has taken several enormous initiatives to give outstanding education. It is now among India’s top five private universities. This MoU marks a significant turning point in our effort to give faculty members access to a global curriculum. It will contribute to the development of industry-ready personnel and better engineers who can apply international best practices. We are certain that both schools will profit from their collaboration with HTWG Konstanz, University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

Added Rein, “We appreciate NMIMS’s commitment to working with us and engaging in faculty and student exchanges. We were established in the 1990s and offer instruction in a variety of fields, including engineering and law. We have academic staff who have a wealth of professional expertise. We are happy to sign this MoU since it will significantly improve ties and benefit institutions, teachers, and students.”
