Doctors were not pleased when the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2022 counselling date was revealed on September 1. Candidates questioned the “logic” behind the exam’s refusal to be postponed despite appeals and demanded that the results be available within 10 days. Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, and the Supreme Court came under fire from the candidates for rejecting the plea for a postponement, claiming that it would result in a shortage of physicians.

“Additionally, the NMC conducts inspections of medical institutions, and the deadline for giving permission letters is August 15. So that all new seats can be included in the first round of counselling itself, it has been decided to begin the counselling procedure on September 1 “said a senior official. On Twitter, a candidate posted: “NEETPG2022 Counseling to start on 1st Sept. 2022.” A wide margin separates exams, findings, and counselling. There isn’t yet a formal announcement or notice. Previous requests to #PostponeNEETPG were denied because of a physician shortage. What a contrast.

What was the purpose of the early exam? asked another candidate in a written response. are medics being made depressed? eliminating their career? Making them feel as though their performance is inadequate? doubting their own worth?”

“I am still pondering Why they Conduct #NEETPG2022 in May if they want Counselling in September,” a doctor tweeted. What Logic Is This? HM, why, @mansukhmandviya? What has become of your patient care model now? Normalcy? And there are fewer doctors? … excuses you made, etc.

A candidate posed the following question on Twitter: “Will just delaying the #NEETPG2022 Exam lead to a shortage of doctors, delayed counselling doesn’t account for it?

What’s the point of holding the #NEETPG2022 counselling 10 days after the #NEETPG2021 counselling, if you were to delay this counselling so long, a Twitter user asked Mandaviya? We only requested a deferral of two months. Are you even still alive, Supreme Court of India?

“What was the use of not delaying anyhow if there was nothing to happen after that for almost three months,” the aspirant argued in response to the postponement, adding that students “should have a clear-cut clarification.”
