Nearly 60,000 candidates registered for Agniveer posts in a recruitment rally in Nagpur.

An official reported on Thursday that more than 59,000 people registered at an Army recruitment rally held here for various “Agniveer” positions under the Center’s new Agnipath program. Agniveer applicants totalled 59,911 as of the registration deadline of August 3, according to a Defense announcement. Male candidates from the districts of Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, Amravati, Bhandara, Gondia, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Akola, and Yavatmal were invited to the Army recruitment rally, which got underway on July 5. “On September 22, in Nagpur, the physical examination and post-verification of the documents will take place. The number of registrations at ARO Nagpur has never been higher than this, “the announcement said.”

The Agnipath plan army recruitment rally for Nagaland will take place at Rangapahar Military Station in Dimapur from September 7 to September 23. According to a press release from PRO Defence (Kohima) Lt Col Sumit K Sharma, the Indian Army website joinindianarmy.nic.in has been updated with the notification and other recruitment information.
