The Hyderabad-based National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) has finished its placements for 2022. 78 graduates from the class of 2022 have been hired by domestic and international law firms and businesses. Out of the total, 26 pre-placement offers (PPOs) from law firms around the nation were accepted, in addition to 52 offers that were made after campus interviews. On Day Zero, 52 offers were made, and 25 of them were accepted by the students.
A total of 124 students were enrolled in the NALSAR Hyderabad 2022 class, but only 78 chose to apply for jobs. The majority of the remaining students are either pursuing legal matters, serving as judicial clerks, or studying for competitive exams like the Common Admission Test (CAT), the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE), and judicial exams. According to a university official release, “several other students have won admission to overseas universities and management institutes for further studies.”
A few of the businesses that participated in the placement drive were Linklaters London, Trilegal, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Khaitan, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Luthra & Luthra, Vedanta, Axis Bank, IC Universal Legal, Indus Law, Tata ASL, AZB, DSK Legal, Freecharge, HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank, Majmudar & Partners, National Stock Exchange, Saraf Trilegal Company made the most bids, with 14, and was followed by Cyril Amarchand MangalDas with 11. Twelve bids were made by other law firms.
