The three-year LLB programme at Mahindra University’s School of Law in Hyderabad is now open. After October 27, 2022, the university will no longer be accepting applications.

There are just 60 students in the approved intake. For graduation, these students must receive a grade of at least a C or a score of 60 percent. To get admitted, qualified applicants will have to go through a panel interview. Public international law and Indian legal systems will be among the topics covered in the course programme. This program’s multidisciplinary curriculum seeks to provide students with industry-specific specialities as elective honours to prepare them for the complicated legal world and help them develop as well-rounded professionals.

The program’s goal is to prepare lawyers in a variety of legal fields, including corporate, business, criminal, international, intellectual property, civil, and technology law. In addition to the domestic changes that will eventually be available to the students, the institution will also provide a student exchange programme with overseas universities. This will open up worldwide job opportunities for students. In addition to the obligatory courses mandated by the Bar Council of India, Mahindra University has built this programme in accordance with current industry trends and puffers courses that strictly reflect new regulatory regimes, value add audit courses, and additional credit courses (BCI).

The vice chancellor of Mahindra University, Yajulu Medury, commented on the inauguration of this LLB programme: “As one of India’s largest and most dynamic professions, the faculty of law expects practitioners to be agile and versatile in their learnings and approach toward the judiciary. The demand for qualified legal practitioners has risen significantly during the past 20 years. According to current industry projections, the intake for legal professionals at India’s top law firms in 2021 showed an increase of close to 15–25%, and it is further anticipated to rise in the years to come. Our goal with this cutting-edge LLB programme is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the complexities of the law and equip them to use that knowledge to serve society and protect individuals.
