IIT Kanpur is reminding GATE PwD applicants to finalize the arrangements for a scribe and additional time allowances by December 26, 2022. All other applicants must make necessary changes on the GATE 2023 website (gate.iitk.ac.in) by December 28, 2022.
IITK has declared in the GATE 2023 notification that if applicants don’t amend their application forms before the cut-off date, their admit cards will be deemed provisional. The institute will be issuing the GATE 2023 admit card on January 3, 2023.
On December 7, 2022, IITK released directions for PwD applicants. Those with a disability level of 40% or more, or physical issues with writing the exam, will be allowed the services of a scribe and an extra hour to finish the test after submitting a certificate based on Appendix-A in the GATE 2023 information booklet.
The powers-that-be initiated the GATE 2023 mock test link on December 13, 2022, offering potential exam-takers the opportunity to practice with questions from the GATE 2022 paper and test format. The GATE 2023 test is planned to take place on February 4, 5, 6, 11, and 12, 2023, and the registration deadline was October 16, 2022.
