IIT Bombay and Plaksha University have come to an agreement to collaborate on research and offer internship chances.

A pact was inked by the founding vice-chancellor of Plaksha University, Rudra Pratap and the director of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Subhasis Chaudhuri, allowing for joint research and internship chances for students from both educational establishments.

In accordance with the deal, the two organizations will be investigating knowledge transfer and investigation in areas including computer science, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and cyber-physical systems, sophisticated manufacturing, bioengineering, and educational technology.

The collaboration between the two parties will allow for faculty, student, and research scholar visits as well as joint research projects, information sharing, development, and publications. Students will be able to gain experience at labs of each institution and partake in special brief programs at undergraduate and graduate levels. Furthermore, both institutions will hold joint conferences and symposia.

At the event, Rudra Pratap, founding Vice Chancellor of Plaksha University, expressed his appreciation for working with IIT Bombay. This collaboration is in line with their mission of offering up-to-date technological courses with a concentration on research-oriented teaching. It is a remarkable prospect for instructors and scholars to get hands-on technical instruction at both organizations that will eventually elevate their intellect, conceptions, verve, and enthusiasm for invention.

Subhasis Chaudhuri expressed his view that it is time high-quality education expands beyond just public institutions. He expressed his admiration for the Plaksha University initiative and indicated that IIT Bombay will be an ally as the two move forward together.
