The Advanced Management Curriculum, a six-month program for detailed study of numerous principles, policies, and practices needed for professionals, is offered by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) and Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC). The course will start on November 10 after the application deadline of October 31. Graduates and postgraduates with 50% or more in their final grade and at least five years of relevant work experience are eligible for the programme. According to the France Advanced Management Programme website, “a limited seat programme that offers exposure to the worldwide sector and experience with technical and operational aspects of aviation and air transportation operations and management.”

Participants in the programme will study sustainability, IT strategy and applications, airline and airport operations and management, among other subjects, from eminent IIMA teachers. IIM Ahmedabad’s Debjit Roy commented on the programme, saying, “As the Indian aviation and aeronautics business expands, so does the demand for professionals with techno-managerial skill sets. We are happy to make this programme available to individuals who can lead the industry toward a more disruptive future. Participants will have the ability to imagine and recreate how the sector should function in keeping with the government’s goal of making India a hub for international aviation, even if the sector’s future may present numerous problems.

For a period of six months, every Saturday, the programme provides live, interactive classes that may be accessed remotely. The participants will also take two on-campus modules and spend five days on the campus of ENAC France. Visit the IIMA website or send an email to inquiry-blp@iima.ac.in for more information.
