For the CAT Exam 2022, questions from shifts 2 and 3 of the DILR section will not be included in the evaluation for the CAT results.

The CAT exam officials recently posted a notification on iimcat.ac.in about the exclusion of two questions from the DILR section. These questions were for CAT shift 2 and 3. The CAT committee clarified that these questions were ambiguous and will not be counted towards the overall score. The total CAT score of the individuals who took the DILR section in the two shifts will be adjusted according to their answers on the remaining questions.

The CAT 2022 examination took place on November 27 with its three different shifts being conducted successfully in 293 test centres across 154 different cities in India. The authorities released the answer key for the exam on December 1 and allowed the candidates to file objections (in case of any discrepancies) until December 3.

This year, over 220000 individuals took the MBA entrance exam, with an overall attendance rate of 87%. The CAT cutoff has yet to be announced by the regulating body, and the CAT result of 2022 is projected to be announced in the middle of January with the accompanying CAT final answer key.
