Delhi University (DU) has extended the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) round 1 fee payment deadline to October 25, 2 PM. The official admissions website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in, is where candidates who received seats in the first round of the CSAS can log in and pay their admission fees.
An official announcement from DU stated, “On the request of candidates, and taking into consideration the Diwali festivities, the last date for payment of fees by the candidates has been extended to 2 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2022.”
Candidates who don’t pay their admission costs by the deadline will not be permitted to take part in any further CSAS rounds for UG admission in 2022, according to DU. Only applicants who have paid the admissions fee will be given a chance to “upgrade.” If a seat becomes vacant, the institution will announce it at 10 a.m. on October 26, 2022. According to a DU statement, the candidates who accepted admission in CSAS Round-I may then choose to “Upgrade” and re-order their higher preferences from 10 a.m. on October 26 to 4:59 p.m. on October 27.
Out of 80,164 applicants, almost 72,800 have so far accepted the college and course that were assigned to them in DU CSAS round 1 seat allocation. On October 30, 2022, DU’s second merit list will be made public. Candidates will have between October 31 and November 1 of 2022 to accept their assigned seats. As part of CSAS round 3, DU will also launch a mid-entry window for UG programmes from November 5 to November 7, 2022. On November 2, 2022, the academic year 2022–2023 will start. Delhi University has announced that candidates from the reserved category who failed to submit their category certificates in the manner specified by the university would be disqualified from the CSAS round-1 seat distribution. These applicants will be considered for the open seats in CSAS round 2.
