According to a senior official, the colleges of Delhi University (DU) will set up a committee to handle complaints that come up during the admissions process. Furthermore, colleges would set up subcommittees to assist applicants who fall under the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economic Weaker Section, Minorities, and Persons with Benchmark Disability categories. For the academic year 2022–2023, the institution started the admissions process for undergraduate programmes on Monday.

The Common Seat Allocation System’s admission process will be broken down into three phases: submitting the CSAS-2022 application form, choosing your programmes and indicating your preferences, and seat allocation and admission. “A Grievance Redressal Committee will be established in each college to address any issues that may come up during the admissions process. Additionally, a Sub-Committee of Grievance Redressal would be constituted to address the issues of candidates who fall under the SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Minority and PwBD categories “added the official.

The information on the “College Grievance Redressal Committee” and the subcommittee will be available on the College’s and DU’s websites. Candidates should first contact the Grievance Redressal Committee of the relevant College if they have any complaints regarding their application for admission. The official stated, “The candidate may approach the Central Grievance Redressal Committee of Delhi University if the grievance is not handled within a reasonable period of time by the College.”

This committee will handle candidate-related issues with allocation and admission. On the UoD admittance website, the Central Grievance Redressal Committee’s information will be available. The official stated that the candidate will be awarded a supernumerary seat if the grievance is determined to be relevant and genuine and seats in a certain programme have already been filled. The official stated, “The decision(s) of the appropriate authorities with regard to grievances shall(s) be final and binding.
