On Tuesday in Central Delhi’s Kamla Market neighborhood, a 20-year-old student allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the college building, according to police. They said that the woman was a second-year BA Hons (Political Science) student. They said, without providing any further information, that a suicide note was found in one of her pockets and it made no mention of anyone being to blame. She was taken to a neighbouring hospital where doctors confirmed her death, according to a senior police official. The body was given to her family members after the post-mortem, the officer continued.
