The Chandigarh University case, in which it was alleged that a hostel taped multiple inappropriate films of female students in the communal restroom, was the subject of an arrest, according to the Punjab Police, on Saturday.

Three persons, including a student from Himachal Pradesh and two adults, had already been detained by police. Last week, protests erupted on the university campus in Mohali, Punjab, amid claims made by students that a hostel prisoner had made multiple inappropriate movies of other students in the shared bathroom. Even several pupils alleged that the videos had been released. However, the university administration rejected these claims, calling them “false and unfounded.”
