According to students, the JEE Main 24 January Shift 1 exam paper was generally uncomplicated.

On Tuesday, 24 January 2023, the National Testing Agency organized the Joint Entrance Examination Main Session 1 for aspiring engineers. Candidates who sat for the JEE Main 2023 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) can now access the paper’s analysis, level of difficulty, predicted scores, and feedback from those who took the test.

JEE Main Paper Analysis – 24 January Shift 1: Overall easy paper

Based on feedback from test-takers of the JEE Main BE/BTech exam on January 24th, 2023, 1st shift, it can be concluded that the overall difficulty of the paper was not too challenging. The detailed analysis of the JEE Main question paper for 2023 is provided for reference.

Generally, the JEE Main 2023 exam is expected to be of the same degree of difficulty as last year. A few students commented that Maths questions in the exam were more complex and extended in comparison to Chemistry and Physics. The Mathematics paper in JEE Main 2023 was tricky, with some challenging problems from subjects such as integration and probability. The formula-based questions, however, were easier. This made it more difficult than the Chemistry and Physics sections, but those who studied well should have no problem getting a good mark.

JEE Main Chemistry paper analysis 2023

According to student feedback, the JEE Main 2023 Chemistry section had a lot of questions from Organic Chemistry. Some students noted that there weren’t any queries regarding IUPAC nomenclature, however there were questions like – determining the reactant in a chemical reaction.

JEE Main 2023 question paper analysis – Physics

This year, the Physics section of JEE Main included a few questions from Optics, but the majority of the questions were related to Electronics and Thermodynamics topics like Capacitors and Resistance.
