On Tuesday in Rajasthan’s Sikar district, a nine-year-old child was abducted by an unidentified suspect while he and his maternal grandfather were on their way to school, according to the police. The suspects, who were driving an SUV, allegedly stopped the scooter the boy’s maternal grandfather was riding and abducted the child outside the school while under the jurisdiction of the Udhyog Nagar police station.
According to Sikar DSP Virendra Singh, adjacent CCTV cameras caught the SUV, and investigations are ongoing to identify the suspect using the footage. He said that the victim’s father, coaching class owner Mahaveer Hooda, had reported the incident to the Udhyog Nagar police station.
