Uddeshya Ahirwar, a mechanical engineering fourth-year student, was discovered hanging from a tree next to a building on the MANIT campus, according to Kamla Nagar police station chief Anil Vajpayee. According to the official, Ahirwar stayed in the institute’s dormitory. He added that a thorough inquiry is ongoing to determine the rationale for the drastic action and that the body has been sent for a post-mortem.
