Police reported that a nine-year-old boy who had been taken on Tuesday morning from Sikar district had been found in Jhunjhunu district. They said that the youngster was taken while accompanying his maternal grandfather to school. The suspects, who were riding in an SUV, yanked the boy’s grandfather off of his two-wheeler, got him inside, and then took off. According to Sikar DSP Virendra Singh, the victim’s father, coaching class owner Mahaveer Hooda, reported the incident to the Udhyog Nagar police station. The child was sought after by the police, who claimed to have located him close to Bhatiwad village in Jhunjhunu’s Gudahgodji. According to the authorities, after getting information from the locals, a team went to the area and found the boy.
The accused had left him due to the search operation, they said.
Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister, commended the police in Sikar and Jhunjhunu for their quick response. On Twitter, Gehlot stated that he had been keeping an eye on the situation since the morning and added that the police unit that had successfully carried out the action deserved appreciation.
