KVS Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The government’s recruitment guidelines guide KVS’s selection process. The following is the recruitment procedure:

• Written Exam: The candidate must pass a written competitive examination for various positions that is held across India. Only those who pass the first round progress to the second round.
• Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates who pass the written exam are invited to a personal interview round at various test centres across India. This round is worth 60 points, and the sum of the written examination and written round scores determines the final merit list.
• Merit List: Candidates who receive the highest combined score in the written exam and personal interview are placed higher on the merit list and are eligible for the open positions.

KVS Recruitment 2024 Pay Scale

KVS Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Those interested in applying for these positions must first confirm their eligibility; otherwise, they will not be considered for the position. Before applying, you must consider a number of factors, including nationality, age limit, and educational qualifications. The following are some of them:

Nationality

Candidates for all positions in the Central Government must be Indian citizens. At the time of application, the applicant must be of Indian descent and residing in India.

Educational Qualifications

1. For PGT Posts of Hindi, Physics, English, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, History, Geography, Economics and any stream of Commerce

• Two Year Postgraduate or M.Sc. Course in the concerned subject.

• For PGT posts of Computer Science
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in the following-
  • B.Tech (Computer Science or IT) from a recognized University or its equivalent Degree or Diploma from a recognised university.

Or

• Masters Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks aggregate.
  • B.Ed or its equivalent degree from a recognized University.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English medium teaching.

Or

• M.Sc. Computer Science or Master of Computer Application or equivalent degree from recognized University

• B.Tech, any stream and PG Diploma in Computer from a recognized University

• PG Diploma in Computer from a recognized University

KVS Recruitment 2024 Admit Card

To announce the release of admit cards for the written examination, KVS will issue an official notification two weeks prior to the examination date. The time, duration, and location of the examination will be specified on the admit cards. Applicants should double-check their information and notify the authorities if there are any discrepancies. It must also be brought to the test centre on the day of the examination; otherwise, the applicant will not be permitted to take the exam.

KVS Recruitment 2024 Result And Cut-Off

The official KVS recruitment authority will release a cut-off to specify the minimum marks that applicants must achieve in order to pass the written examination. Applicants who achieve a score higher than the minimum cut-off will be invited to the Personal Interview. After that, the final cut-off will be announced, and applicants who make it to the top of the list will be hired for the various positions for which they applied.
