Indian Institute of Mass Communication conducts IIMC Admissions Every year.
IIMC is an internationally known center of education for training and research in Mass Communication.
Through this examination, the aspirant gets admission into PG Diploma Courses in Journalism in both the languages Hindi and English, Odia (Dhenkal), Urdu (New Delhi), Marathi (Amravathi), Malayalam (Kottayam), Radio and Television Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations.

Students who are eligible can apply either in online or in offline mode.
Students should fill in all the required details and submit the application form before the last date of submission in case if the student fails to do so he/she will not be allowed to write the exam.

Applying candidates should match the following criteria in order to apply or to appear in the entrance exam.

For Journalism Courses, candidates are tested upon
Aptitude and mental make-up, sensitivity to social issues, ethics and values, Analytical and Comprehension skills, General Awareness, and Language capabilities.
For Advertising and Public Relations
Aptitude and mental make-up, Analytical and Comprehension skills, General awareness, Brand awareness and recall, Social consciousness, and Lateral thinking capabilities.

Application fee for IIMC Entrance Exam 2023
Following are the details of the application fee that has to be paid by the aspirants.
GENERAL – INR 1200
OBC /SC/ST/PH – INR 1100
According to last year minimum cut off percentage
General – 50%
OBC (NCL) – 45%
SC/ST – 40 %
Admit card will be issued before few weeks of the examination.
It can be downloaded through online.
Admit card contains the basic details of the applying candidate such as candidate name, candidate signature, photograph, test related information, address, time, seat number, centre etc.
In order to download the admit card, the candidate needs to fill in the details such as unique registration number, Applicant’s name, Date of Birth.
It is mandatory for students to bring in the admit card to write the test.
Without any one of the above-mentioned details, the candidate will not be allowed to give the examination.
It is suggested to keep the admit card with the student till all the process of admission gets completed.
The student should show the admit card whenever the examiner asks for it.
IIMC 2023 results will be released by Indian Institute of Mass Communication during the 2nd week of June 2023 tentatively.
Results are released on the official website i.e. iimc.gov.in in the news and announcement sections.
After the declaration of the result, only the candidates clearing the entrance exam are called for document verification, Personal Interview/ Group Discussion.
The student should bring all the relevant documents along with them during the process.
Candidates clearing the GD/PI will be eligible for IIMC 2023 admissions.
