The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is a teacher eligibility test administered by the Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH). HTET is held for various levels of teacher recruitment in Haryana State Government schools, including Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT).

Applicants who pass the written test will receive a TET certificate that will be valid for seven years, up from five years previously. HTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The HTET 2021 exam is open to applicants between the ages of 18 and 38. The following are the educational requirements for various positions:

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teacher

Candidates must have one of the following set of educational qualifications to apply for HTET Primary Teacher:

  • Senior Secondary or its equivalent, as well as a 50 percent grade in the two-year Elementary Education Diploma.

Or

  • Senior Secondary or equivalent, as well as a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education with a grade point average of 45 percent or higher.
  • Passed or appearing in the final year of a four-year B.El.Ed course with a grade point average of 50 percent or higher.
  • Senior Secondary or equivalent with a grade point average of 50 percent or higher and has already completed or appeared in the final semester of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)* Graduated or appearing in the final year of a 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Matriculation with Hindi/Sanskrit or Senior Secondary/Graduation/Post-Graduation with Hindi.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Trained Graduate Teacher

To apply for HTET Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) 2021, applicants must have one of the following educational qualifications:

  • Completed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field and passed or are currently enrolled in the final year of a two-year Elementary Education diploma programme.
  • Passed or is pursuing a 1-year Bachelor in Education degree with a minimum of 50% in the applicable stream (B.Ed).
  • Graduation in the appropriate field with a grade point average of 45 percent or higher, as well as completion or pursuit of a one-year bachelor’s degree in education (B.Ed).
  • Completed or enrolled in the final semester of a four-year B.El.Ed or Bachelor in Elementary Education programme with a grade point average of 50 percent or higher.
  • Senior Secondary or equivalent with a grade point average of 50% or higher, and completed or appearing in the final year of a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed programme.
  • Passed or enrolled in a 1-year B.Ed. programme in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (Special Education).

HTET Eligibility for Post Graduate Teacher

The following are the eligibility requirements for those wishing to apply for the HTET Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) position:

  • Must have received a 50 percent or higher grade in the relevant subject during post-graduation.
  • A bachelor’s degree in education was earned.
  • Matriculation with Hindi and Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post-Graduation in Hindi is required.
  • Must have a strong academic track record.

HTET 2021 Application Form

On the official website, the application form for HTET 2021 is expected to open in December 2021. The application period for HTET 2020, on the other hand, has ended.

HTET Application Form: Registration Part-I

  • www.bseh.org.in is the official website for the HTET Exam.
  • On the home page, click the “HTET 2021 application form” link.
  • Read all of the instructions before filling in all of the information.
  • Then fill in the required fields, such as the candidate’s full name, parents’ names, religion, gender, date of birth, a valid phone number and email address, communication and permanent addresses, educational details, and so on.
  • After that, click on “save” and then “submit.” The registered email address will receive a provisional User ID and registration number.

HTET Application Form: Registration Part-II

  • A recent passport-size colour photograph, as well as a scanned copy of the applicant’s signature and thumb impression, must be submitted in stage 2 of the application process, according to the guidelines.

HTET 2021 Admit Card

The Board of Secondary Education-Haryana will release the HTET admit card for the exam on the official website in January 2021. The HTET admit card is not mailed by the authorities. By entering their log-in credentials, all applicants must download their admit cards.

Applicants will be able to download the HTET admit card once it is released by the authorities on the official website. Applicants must bring their admit card as well as a valid form of identification, such as a Pan Card, Aadhaar Card, or Driver’s License.

HTET 2021 Exam Pattern

HTET 2021 Post-wise Syllabus

Along with the official notification for the recruitment of various posts, the officials released the exam pattern and syllabus. The number of subjects for which applicants must appear varies depending on the post they choose, as shown in the table below:

HTET 2021 Result

The HTET certificate was also issued online in conjunction with the announcement of the results. On the other hand, on January 4, 2021, the HTET Answer Key 2020-21 for Level 1, 2, and 3 was released.

In the case of recruitment, applicants should keep in mind that the written exam is worth 80% of the marks, while the personal interview is worth around 20%.


HTET 2021 Cutoff

For all levels of the exam, the HTET Cutoff is the same. The HTET certificate is awarded to those applicants who pass the exam and meet the cutoff marks. There are, however, some exceptions for the reserved categories, which are listed below:

Validity of HTET Certificate

The HTET Certificate is awarded to the applicant who achieves the cutoff marks or higher after passing the exam. The HTET qualified certificate will have a lifetime validity, as opposed to the previous 7-year validity.

The HTET salary varies depending on the position and level of examination. The gross salary of a Primary Teacher is Rs. 35400-112400/-, that of a TGT (Level 2) is Rs. 47600-151100/-, and that of a PGT is Rs. 44900-142400/- per month.


HTET FAQs

HTET 2021 is going to be conducted offline, in pen and paper mode. Candidates have to fill the OMR sheet to mark their responses.

There is no official news released by BSEH on HTET notification 2021 date, it may tentatively release in October.

HTET score will be valid for seven years from the date of the declaration. The certificate given to the HTET qualified candidates will remain valid for seven years instead of five years after a new amendment.
