UPSEE 2022 – Detailed Eligibility Criteria

UPSEEThe UPSEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria is controlled and prescribed by AKTU (Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University), Uttar Pradesh.

AKTU controls and conducts the UPSEE annually on a state level and offers admissions to various Universities and Institutions in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates may check their eligibility to give UPSEE 2022 by reading this article.


UPSEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the following criteria to attend the UPSEE 2022.  Detailed criteria:

Common Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality- Indian/NRI/FN/PIO candidates can apply for this exam.
  • Age Limit- There is no lower or upper age limit to give this exam.
  • Appearing- Candidates appearing for respective qualifying exams are also eligible to register.

Residential Eligibility:

  • Students who pass the qualifying exam from UP and whose parents are residents of UP can apply.
  • Students who pass the qualifying exam from outside UP can also apply but must produce a certificate of residence in UP (only father or mother).
  • Students wishing to apply but without a UP residence are eligible to apply but are only eligible for 10% of the seats in the private institutions affiliated to ATKU for Technology/Architecture courses.

Qualification Criteria:

Eligibility for B.Tech/B.Tech (Biotechnology)/B.Tech (Agr.):

  • Applicant must have qualified 10+2 from UP Board or equivalent.
  • Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with additional from any of the following: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Arts, Technical Vocational Subject.
  • Candidates must pass in 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Eligibility for B.Arch:

  • Applicant must have qualified 10+2 from UP Board or equivalent.
  • Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with additional subjects from the following: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Fine Arts, Technical Vocational Subject.
  • Applicant must qualify with minimum 50% aggregate in the above-stated exam.

Eligibility for B.Pharm:

  • Applicant must have qualified 10+2 from UP Board or equivalent.
  • Physics and Chemistry are compulsory subjects along with additional subjects from the following: Biology, Mathematics, Bio-Technology, Technical Vocational subject.
  • Applicant must qualify with a minimum aggregate of 45%(General) and 40%(SC/ST).

Eligibility for BHMCT/BFAD/BFA:

  • Applicant must have qualified 10+2 from UP Board or equivalent.
  • Applicants must acquire a minimum of 45% (Gen.) and 40%(SC/ST).

Eligibility for MBA:

  • Applicants should be graduated with a Bachelors Degree from a recognized University or Institution.
  • A minimum aggregate of 45%  (General) and 40% (SC/ST) is a must.

Eligibility for MCA:

  • Applicants must be graduated with a Bachelors Degree from a recognized University or Institution.
  • It is a must for the applicants to have passed with Mathematics in 10+2.
  • A minimum aggregate of 45%(Gen) and 40%(SC/ST) is a must for applicants.

Eligibility for Lateral Entry in B.Tech/B.Pharma/MCA:

B.Tech Lateral Entry:

  • Applicant should be a diploma holder or B.Sc graduate with Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 qualifying exam.
  • Applicants must hold a minimum aggregate of 45%(Gen) and 40%(SC/ST).

B.Pharm Lateral Entry:

  • Applicants must be 2/3 year Diploma Holders in Pharmaceuticals.
  • Applicants must hold a minimum aggregate of 45%(Gen) and 40%(SC/ST).

MCA Lateral Entry:

  • Applicant must hold a Bachelors Degree of BCA or B.Sc (IT/Computer Application).
  • Applicant must hold a minimum aggregate of 50%(Gen) and 45%(SC/ST).
  • Applicant should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects of the examination.
