It will be conducted in around 18 cities within the state of Uttar Pradesh through an offline medium (pen and paper-based examination).

The exam is to be held in the month of April 2023, and the counseling process is to commence in the month of June 2023.

UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Following is the detailed eligibility criteria for UP B.Ed JEE:


  • The candidate should have graduated in any course from a recognized university in Uttar Pradesh or a Central University.
  • The candidate should have secured a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates who are postgraduates should have secured at least 50% minimum marks in their qualifying examination.
  • Candidates who belong to the reserved category should have scored 50% minimum marks in the qualifying examination for graduates, and 45% minimum marks for postgraduates.


  • Candidates applying for UP B.Ed. JEE must be citizens of India in order to be eligible for application.
  • The candidate must belong to the domicile of Uttar Pradesh.

Age Criteria

  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age in order to be eligible for the examination.
  • There is no upper age limit set.

  • Candidates can apply online mode as well as offline mode.
  • Candidates need a valid adhaar card number for the application process.
