UID DAT 2023 Application Form

For undergraduate and post-graduate courses the UID application form is published online. Prior to actually applying for the UID 2023 entrance exam, the applicant must register himself/herself. One applicant is required to submit only one application. It does not accept multiple application forms. 4 years of undergraduate and 2-year postgraduate programs will be offered by UID Ahmedabad.

How to Fill UID Design Aptitude Test 2023 Application Form in Online Mode?

Step 1 – Registration

Applicants must first register for the UID Design Aptitude Test application form. The following details must be entered:

• First name
• Middle name
• Last name
• Mobile number
• Email address

Candidates must click on ‘I’m not a robot’ and click on ‘Create New Account’ after submitting the above-mentioned details. An email would be sent to the student’s email ID, indicating their username and password.

Step 2 – Login

By entering their username and password, candidates can login.

Step 3 – Course Details

Applicants have to select the course in this section of the application form from the drop-down menu they want to follow. They have to click on the ‘Next’ button after submitting the details.

Step 4 – Personal Details

Applicants must provide the following details in this part of the UID Design Aptitude Test application form:

• Title
• Middle name
• Alternate mobile number
• Alternate email
• Gender
• Date of birth
• Nationality
• Blood group
• STD Code
• Have you appeared for admission interview at UID earlier? (Y/N)

After submitting the details, click on ‘Next’ button.

Step 5 – Enter Family Details

Applicants need to fill the family details in this section of the UID Design Aptitude test application form, such as:

In the UID Design Aptitude Test application form, applicants have to fill the following details:

Candidates need to submit the details related to their 10th and 12th classes in this part of the UID Design Aptitude Test application form.

Applicants have to answer the questions from the choices given in the drop-down menu regarding their work experience.

Step 9 – Select Test Centres

Applicants must pick a test center of their preference from the drop-down menu, then choose the United World UG financing source from the drop-down menu and then select it.

Step 10 – Upload Documents

Applicants have to upload their images according to the above-mentioned specifications, tick ‘I agree’ and then select the ‘Submit and make payment’ button.

Step 11 – Make the Payment

The payment has to be made in online mode by applicants. The following options given in the table can be used to pay the UID Design Aptitude Test application fee:

How to Fill UID Design Aptitude Test Application Form in Offline Mode?

Candidates may access and fill in the form in their own handwriting and send it to the address below, together with certified documents, like the image and signature of the applicant. A Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 2000 must also be sent to them and sent with the application form. The DD must be drawn in favor of the United World Institute of Design payable at Ahmedabad.

UID DAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

In UID admission process, eligibility plays a key role. Applicants who are found to be ineligible at any point in the examination procedure shall be removed from the further phases of assessment. This will lead to the applicants wasting time and resources. Consequently, only those that are qualified will continue to apply for UID Admission process.

For undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the eligibility requirements are different. It can be verified by the applicant from the criteria given.

Education for UG: for students applying to UG courses, passing 10+2 or equivalent, with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognized university/board.

Education for PG: Students applying for admission to PG courses must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (10+2+3/4) from a respected university in India with a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate in the relative area of studies as referred to in each specialized subject.

Age limit: The UID Design Aptitude Test 2023 is not subject to an upper age limit.

UID Design Aptitude Test Exam Pattern 2023

The UID Design Aptitude Test will be organized in online mode in 2023 and it takes two and a half hours to complete the exam. The exam will be held the month of January and the total number of marks awarded will be100. The UID Design Aptitude Test examination pattern includes a written test and the shortlisted students, along with portfolio evaluation, will have to appear for the creative situation test.

Mode: UID Design Aptitude Test 2023 will be carried out online.

Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the question paper.

Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes) will be the time given to finish the examination.

Marking Scheme: For every right answer one mark will be awarded and there is no provision of negative markings.

UID DAT 2023 Admit Card

The admit card for UID DAT 2023 will only be issued in the online mode. No hard copy of it will be dispatched via post to the applicants. For the written test, situation test, and portfolio evaluation, UID publishes a common admit card. Applicants needs an email ID and password to download it. Applicants should carry a printed version of the UID Ahmedabad 2023 admit card and a valid ID card on the day of the exam.

How to Download UID Entrance Exam 2023

Exam day Guidelines for UID Design Aptitude Test

• Blue ballpoint pen, lead pencils (grade B, 2B, 4B, and 8B), eraser, sharpener, ruler, colored pencils, and geometry box must be carried by applicants. With the exception of the ones specified above, they are not allowed to carry anything else.
• Students are not permitted to bring the mentioned items inside the examination hall: bags, water bottles, calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets.
• All applicants must report to the UID DAT examination center at least one hour before the examination begins.
• Applicants who arrived after 11 a.m. are not permitted to enter the examination center.
• Students are not permitted to leave the test center until the examination is finished.
• Infringement of any regulations or the use in the examination hall of any unfair means will lead to the disqualification of applicants.

Important Instructions on UID Entrance Exam Admit Card 2023

• Applicants should recognize that the UID DAT 2023 admit card is really only valid if the picture of the applicant is clear (All applicants are instructed to take a color printout of the admit card on A4 size paper).
• In such a case, if the picture is not clear on the admit card, it is recommended for applicants to carry two color photos so that they can affix them to the admit card.
• On the UID DAT 2023 admit card, applicants should not write or scribble anything.

UID Design Aptitude Test 2023 Result

The UID exam consists of evaluating the Aptitude Test + Studio Test + Portfolio. It is necessary to give all three tests for all applicants. UID Ahmedabad 2023 Selection Process

Those applicants who manage to clear all the rounds are given admission to UID. From the points provided below, students can check the selection criteria for B.Des and M.Des.

1st Round-Written Test: The first criterion for shortlisting the applicants is the written test, which is a test based on aptitude. Further rounds are called for by those who qualify.

2nd Round: Situation test and Portfolio evaluation are the second rounds.

Situation Test: Here, situations on the basis of which they have to draw models are given to applicants. Applicants are also asked a few questions that they need to sketch and answer the question for.

Portfolio Evaluation: Carrying a portfolio created by you on the day of the portfolio evaluation is compulsory. In the whole process of selection, this will be the last step.
