The University holds this examination for female candidates only. The exam is held in both English and Telugu languages with the exception of language-based exams.

SPMVV PGCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Following is the detailed eligibility criteria for SPMVV PGCET 2023:

Nationality Requirements

  • Only female candidates who are citizens of India and belong to the domicile of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana are eligible for application.
  • Female candidates who are citizens of India and belong to other states can apply under the 5% National Integration Quota.
  • Female candidates who are foreign nationals/ NRIs can apply provided they fulfill other eligibility criteria, and possess a valid student visa for the duration of the program being applied for.

Qualifications Required

  • The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant course with the required amount of minimum aggregate marks.
  • Candidates applying to the M.Ed. program of the university must have 50% minimum marks in their B.Ed. degree; and 45% minimum marks in their bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree.
  • For SC/ST candidates, simply getting passing marks in the qualifying examination is sufficient for application and there are no minimum marks criteria.

  • Candidates already having a postgraduate degree in a particular course cannot apply for the same course at the University.
  • Any candidate is only allowed to pursue one full-time course at a time at SPMVV University.
  • Appearing candidates are also eligible for application.
  • Candidates who have to give supplementary examinations are not eligible for application.
  • Candidates must score a minimum of 25 marks in the entrance examination in order to be eligible for admission. However, for SC/ST candidates there are no minimum marks criteria for the entrance examination.
