PUTHAT 2022 Application Form

  • The registration form is not accessible in other mode than online for candidates.
  • At the moment of submitting the application form, candidates must enter certain necessary information and upload scanned photos and signature images.

  • After the forms are submitted no correction is permitted in the registration form.
  • After the application form has been successfully filled, applications are advised to receive a printout of the application form.

How to fill the Application Form?

The registration form is an important step in the admission process and therefore it must be correctly completed and the candidates can refer to the following steps:

Step 1: The applicants needs to first visit the official website and click on apply option.

Step 2: Now in the form displayed on the screen, applicants need to register themselves by submitting their details like the Name of the Candidate, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Email Id, Class 10th Roll Number, Passing Year, Category, etc.

Step 3: Once above step is completed, the applicant will receive a login id and password.

Step 4: In the next step, the applicant have to fill the all the details asked in the application form.

Step 5: Once all the information in the registration form has been filled, the candidates are supposed to make payment for the same.

Application Fee

All candidates must pay applications fees as per the category of applicants. General Category applicants should pay Rs. 2100/- and SC / ST / PWD category must pay Rs. 1050/-. Once the applicants pay it, it won’t be refunded back to any applicants.

General Category:  The application of the respective category will be Rs. 2100/-.

SC/ST/PWD Category: And for the reserved category, the application fee will be Rs. 1050/-.

Late Fee: A fine will be charged as a late fee applying after the deadline.

PUTHAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

PUTHAT 2022 Exam Pattern

In the examination, for each correct response, applicants will be granted one mark. For PUTHAT, the exam paper will be composed of 100 questions. The total alloted to finish the paper is set to be 90 minutes. The exam paper language only consist of the English medium. Negative marking exists, i.e., for the wrong answer  25 percent marks will be deducted.

No. of Questions: The question paper for PUTHAT 2022 will contain a total of 100 questions.

Exam Duration: The examination duration will be 90 minutes which is one and a half hours.

Exam Medium: The exam will be conducted only in ENGLISH language.

Marking Scheme:  For every correct answer, One mark will be awarded.

Negative Marking: There will be negative marking, for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted i.e., 25% of marks.

PUTHAT 2022 Admit card

Only those applicants who successfully register for the entrance examination will receive the admit card for PUTHAT 2022. PUTHAT 2022 will issue the Admitted Card only via online mode. The applicant will not be sent a printed admit card by post. To access it, log in by entering the information such as login id and password, to the official website of Panjab University.

On the day of examination, you must take the print out of the admit card PUTHAT 2022. Under no circumstances shall an applicant be permitted to take the test without an admit card. One essential advice would be to keep the admit card with the applicants until the admission is over because this is required again during the counselling process.

PUTHAT 2022 Counselling

The PUTHAT 2022 Counseling is only available for the applicants who meet the criteria for the test by getting the required cut-off percentage. You must download and submit the second part of the admission form which you can download on the UIHTM website. Before the final date, the applicant has to submit the admission form together with the necessary documents.

In addition, on the day of counselling, applicants must bring in the original documents. For this counselling, all applicants must be present. Two (02) rounds of PUTHAT Counseling shall be held by the University.

For admission to two of the main courses, Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM), PUTHAT, a university level entrance exam is conducted. 

BHMCT and BTTM courses for Indian candidates have 60 and 30 seats, respectively.

Application fee for candidates in the General category is Rs. 2175.
