PESSAT is the first step for applicants who want to apply for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes at PES University.

PESSAT is required for admission to PES University, Bangalore’s B. Tech, B.Arch, BBA/BBA-HEM (BBA – Hospitality & Event Management), BBA, LLB – 5 Year Integrated Law Program, B.Des, BCA, MBA, and other courses. For all programmes, the exam will be conducted online.   • Type of Question: The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Medium of Paper: The exam will be conducted in English.
  • Duration of Exam: The duration for B.Tech. applicants is 3 hours, or 180 minutes. Other applicants must finish the exam in two hours, or 120 minutes.
  • Number of Questions: For B.Tech. courses, there will be 180 questions. For the rest of the courses, there will be 120 questions.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded. There will be no Negative marking except of examination of B.Tech.

PESSAT 2022 Marking Scheme

The marking scheme is important in calculating the applicants’ expected marks in the qualifying exam. If a candidate does not attempt any question, no mark will be deducted according to the marking scheme.
