NMIMS NPAT Result 2022: Release Dates, Download Scorecard

Every year NMIMS conducts an entrance exam to offer admission into various UG and Integrated degree programs in management, law, and various other fields. Candidates who qualify for this entrance exam can take admission in campuses located in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Indore, and Shripura. 


The result of this exam will be announced via online mode on the university website. Candidates can check their results by entering their login details. The results are published in a form of a merit list. It is advised that the candidates should keep the scorecard safe until the admission process is complete. The expected result date of NPTA 2022 is in the month of July 2022

How to Check the NMIMS NPAT Result

  • Visit the official website of NMIMS click on the result tab of the homepage.
  • After that candidates will be redirected to the page where they have to enter their log-in details to view their results.
  • Then the screen will display the NPAT merit list
  • Download the merit and take few copies of it for future reference.

Aspirants should keep in mind that group discussion and interview rounds are not conducted for admission purposes. Candidates are purely given admission based on the marks that they obtain in their entrance, cut-off level, and seat intake capacity of the institute.

NPAT Merit list 2022 

The NPAT merit list is prepared soon after the results are announced. The authorities prepare the merit list based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam. Candidates can check the merit list on the official website of NMIMS. Based on the merit list the selection process takes place. The candidates must secure the cut-off to secure admission in NMIMS.

  • Roll no of the candidate
  • Name of the candidate
  • Name of the appeared course
  • Date of birth
  • Marks secured by the candidate in the NPAT exam
  • Sectional cut off marks
  • Marks of each section
  • Rank obtained by the candidate
  • A percentile score of the candidate
  • Examination status of the candidate i.e. Qualified or not Qualified 


NMIMS NPAT answer key is made available soon after the exam is over. NMIMS is responsible for releasing the official answer key. That answer key contains all the answers to the questions asked in the exam. The candidates can use the answer key to cross-verify their answer. Once the answer key is released the candidates will be a chance to challenge the answer key in case they came across any mistakes in the answer key.

The candidates who challenge the answer key have to submit valid proof against the wrong answer and have to pay the required amount. Once the objection is filed the authorities will recheck the answer key and will release the final answer key. After the declaration of the final answer key, candidates will not be given any chance to raise any kind of objection. The authorities will declare the result of NPAT after the release of the final answer key.

Normalization Process of NPAT

NMIMS uses a normalization process before calculating the final score of the candidates. The process is processed in a way that ensures that if there are any differences in the exam difficulty level then certain factors are taken into consideration before evaluating the results.

The final score that is calculated can be compared while analyzing the candidate’s performance with other candidates who have qualifies for the exam. To apply normalization to the final results of NPAT various factors are considered. Such as the rank of the candidates and the total of candidates who appeared for the exam. 

NPAT Cutoff

NMIMS announces the cut-off soon after the results are declared. Candidates can compare their marks to the cut-off set by the authorities to see whether they are selected or not. If the candidates secure more than the cut off then they are summoned for the counselling process.

Factors on which the cut off depends

  • The number of candidates that have applied for the NPAT 2022.
  • Seat availability in the institute.
  • The number of candidates who appeared for the exam.
  • Previous year cut-off trend.
  • The difficulty level of the paper.

NPAT Counselling Session

NPAT conducts counseling for the candidates who have Qualified NPAT 2022. The candidates who have secured more than the cut-off marks are summoned for the counseling process The NPAT counseling will be held by each of the participating institutes. Candidates will have to report at their allotted counseling center on the counseling day the candidates have to bring all the required documents as mentioned in their call letter.

After verifying all the documents candidates will be allotted seats in their respective colleges. The counseling process generally comprises 3 rounds. The second round is conducted to fill the vacant seat left in the first round. The candidates who have their names on the waiting list should keep a regular check on the NPAT counseling section.


The applicants are advised to keep their scorecard safe unless their admission process is complete.

Th applicants are selected on the basis of their marks. The interview round is not taken into consideration while the admission process.

The counselling process is generally conducted in three different rounds. Wherein the first and the second round is mainly held to fill in the vacant seats.

The result of the NMIMS NPAT Exam 2022 will be released online on the official website. Thus, all the candidates can check their results via online mode.

No, not all candidates are allowed to participate in the counselling process. Only the candidates obtaining more than the cut-off marks are selected for the process of counselling.
