NERIST Entrance Examination 2023 – Detailed Eligibility Criteria

NERIST Eligibility Criteria: NERIST is declared as North Eastern Regional Institute Of Science And Technology conducted at state-level.

NERIST  institute is recognized by the UGC and also approved by the AICTE to conduct exams for the aspirants.

The exam is conducted in mainly 3 different phases namely NEE 1, NEE 2, and NEE 3 together for the different modules.

Through this NERIST entrance exam, aspiring students can get admissions in various fields of B.tech, Diploma, Degree in technology, Degree in forestry courses.

The NERIST entrance exam is conducted at different centers of Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Manipur, Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, and Arunachal Pradesh.

The admission of NERIST exam is done based on the merit list as per the regulations of the institute under different category reservations.

This exam is conducted online in the April 2023.

NERIST 2023 Detailed Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they or eligible or not for the NEE entrance exam. These various courses include different eligibility criteria as given below.

Eligibility For NEE 1 Level:

Nationality: Every student must be an Indian citizen to appear for the NEE 1 exam.

Age: Applicants belonging to the general category must have below 19 years at the time of admission.

Applicants belonging to the OBC category should not be more than 22 years.

The SC/ST applicants should have less than 24 years at the time of admission.

Qualification Of Exam: Every student should complete their SSC or any equivalent exam from any recognized university. Maths and Science are the mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.

Eligibility For NEE 2 Level:

Nationality: He/she should be a citizen of Our Nation.

Age: The general category applicants must have more than 23 years of maximum age limit.

The OBC category applicants must be 26 years of maximum age limit.

The candidates belonging to SC/ST category should have a minimum age of 28 years.

Qualification Of Exam: Candidate should possess higher secondary examination or any equivalent exam from a recognized university.

Eligibility For NEE 3 Level:

Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of our Nation.

Age: Applicants should have a maximum age limit of 40 years for general category.

For OBC category, he/she should have a maximum age of 43 years.

For SC/ST category applicants, the maximum age limit is 45 years.

Educational Qualification: He/she should possess a diploma course or any equivalent exam in any relevant field from any recognized institution.
