Manipal MET 2023 Application Form is released on 5th October 2022 for various UG/ PG courses. MU OET 2023 is also known as Manipal University Online Entrance Test 2023. MU OET Application Form
Applicants must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the respective course they would like to apply for. There is no offline form available for MU OET 2023. The application fee for the entry test for MU OET 2023 is Rs. 600 and Rs. 1400 for the General Category. Applicants must register, fill in the details in the form, upload images and pay the application fee in order to apply online.

- The applicant must complete their personal details, course, category, and location. Applicants will receive their credentials after successfully filling out the registration form.
- Applicants have to log in and enter their contact details using their credentials.
- Applicants must enter their qualification details in this step.
- Applicants should select 2 examination centers, and the programs, and pay the fee.
- Candidates must verify their information and confirm the accuracy of all the details.

MU OET Eligibility Criteria
Before filling out the application form, applicants have to go through the MU OET eligibility criteria:
For Courses in B.Tech:
- Age limit: There are no criteria for an age limit.
- Qualification: Applicants should have passed 10+2 from any recognized board’s intermediate examination.
- Subjects: Applicants should have passed a qualifying examination in the fields of physics, mathematics and English along with any biology/biotechnology or technical vocational subject matter.
- Marks Criteria: Applicants should have obtained 50 per cent marks in mathematics, physics and any of the optional subjects taken together.
For Courses at M.Tech:
- Marks Criteria: In their qualifying degree, applicants must secure at least 50 percent marks.
- Qualification: Candidates must have B.Tech/ B.E. or AIME degree from any recognized institute.
- Age Limit: To apply for M.Tech courses, there is no age limit.
MU OET 2023 Exam Pattern
MAHE organizes MU OET 2023 for two hours and a half (150) minutes as a computer-based examination. The MU OET 2023 examination pattern provides applicants with information on intended topics, examination mode, duration of the exam, marking system, etc. The MU OET 2023 examination pattern can help applicants plan and prepare and study for the exam. The applicants must therefore be familiar with the examination pattern.
- Time: The exam will take place within 2 and a half hours.
- Exam Mode: Online (CBT) examination will be conducted.
- Question Type: Questions with multiple choices will be asked during the examination.
- Question Number: A total of 200 questions will be asked.

MU OET 2023 Syllabus
MAHE released a specific curriculum for several MU OET programs. The curriculum for admission into undergraduate programs, through MU OET, was based on the 10+2 curriculum. The questions for the MU OET entrance examination have been developed in accordance with the MU OET 2023 program.
Mathematics: Algebra, sets, relations and functions, mathematical reasoning, calculus, coordinate geometry.
Physics: Law of motion, work, and energy, the motion of a system of particles and rigid body, unit, and measurement, kinematics, thermodynamics, oscillations and waves, properties of bulk order, electrostatics, current electricity.
Chemistry: Atomic structure, a basic concept in chemistry, solutions, periodic properties, chemical thermodynamics, aldehyde and ketones, polymers, basic principles of organic chemistry, and chemical kinetics.
How To Prepare For MU OET 2023
Applicants must start preparing for MU OET 2023 in accordance with the curriculum and exam patterns above. MU OET 2023 must be prepared with the following elements:
Time Management: Although there is no negative marking, you must learn time management. You have only 150 minutes to answer 200 questions. This would put your time to test your skills.
Take Practice Tests and Solve Questions: Practicing questions will give you a better insight into the test. You will also have a clear idea of where you are standing and what areas you need to strengthen.
Get the Basics Done First: Please ensure that the basics are clear enough. Go through the PCM textbooks of Class 11 and 12. Understand the ideas and note the equations, key formulas, and theorems. And check them regularly.
MU OET 2023 Admit Card
Applicants who successfully register must download the admit card to show up for the examination. Applicants must reserve their slots and the admit card is generated immediately after scheduling the slot. The admit card has the information of the test center, the time, and dates for the MU OET 2023 test. The applicants must show up in the test according to the details stated on the admit card.
Candidates had to bring the same printout to the examination hall. Applicants will not be permitted to write the exam without it.

MU OET 2023 Slot Booking
The Manipal Online Test Booking System organizes MU OET Slot Booking (OTBS). The applicants need their application and password to book the slot. There is also an exam-wise schedule for the examination city, according to which the applicants must complete the MU OET 2023 Slot Booking right after the admit card is released.
Slots available for MU OET:
- 3-time slots each day
- Multiple exam dates
Attempts in Mu OET 2023:
- 2 attempts are available.
- Applicants who book slots for attempt 1 can only book slots for attempt 2.
- The extra charge is applicable if applicants want to book slots for MU OET 2023 attempt 2.
MU OET 2023 Result
The university will release the results in the fourth week of May 2023. The outcome of MU OET 2023 will be posted on the website via online mode. The result will also be published with the scorecard. Applicants will have to fill their application number and password for login details in order to download the scorecard. Results for different courses will be revealed differently. Applicants are required to take the rank card printout and keep it safe for admission.
The following points will be taken into account in the case of a tie-breaker in ranks.
- It will take into account applicants who manage to score higher marks in mathematics.
- If the tie still continues to exist, then it will take into account the applicants who will score higher marks in physics.
- If it is still a tie, then it will take into account applicants who will score higher marks in chemistry.
- If the tie still continues to exist, it will take into account applicants who will be older.
How to download the MU OET Result?
On various dates, MAHE will declare results for different courses. You may visit and fill in your application number on their official website. Once you have provided your correct application number, you can view and download the results of MU OET 2023.
MU OET Cut Off
After declaring the result, the MU OET 2023 cut-off will be published. It will only be published in Online Mode. In order to be selected for admission, applicants will have to obtain minimum cut-off marks.
After evaluating different factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants who appeared in the exam, last year’s cut off, etc., cut off will be formulated. The cut-off will vary according to the category, courses and institutes chosen.
MU OET Counselling
In the first week of June 2023, counseling will begin. MU OET 2023 counseling is planned by the university in offline mode. Applicants should take part in counseling in order to obtain seats.
Applicants that have received a minimum cut off can participate in counseling. Applicants must pay counseling fees on the day of counselling. Bring all the original documents you required for verification.
Seats are assigned according to the institution, number of students appearing, seat availability, etc.
