According to the MAH CET marking scheme, 1 mark is rewarded for every correct answer, while no negative marking is given. Since the paper is carried out in 4 slots varying from 2 days, however, the level of difficulty of the slots can vary. Slot 1 can be more complex than Slot 3, for example. In such situations, to facilitate score calculation, corrected scores received by all applicants appearing on both days are standardized to equally compare their results. After this method, the scores are called Equated Scores, with up to two decimal points recorded.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducted MHT CET in two slots on March 14-15, 2019. During all the slots, a common finding was that the paper was found to be lengthy and it was a challenge for the test takers to attempt the paper over the specified time. The MAH CET 2019 overall section-wise difficulty level is tabulated below:
Section Name | Difficulty Level |
